November 8th 2014 - Join Everybody Solar at the Wildlife Associates wildlife sanctuary in Half Moon Bay, CA! This special event is an interactive fundraiser to help Wildlife Associates go solar. "Wild Teachers" or animals sheltered at Wildlife Associates will present on the organization’s educational programs and their focus on sustainability and conservation.
Help Wildlife Associates cut the sanctuary's electric bill costs by 90% and save over $9,000 a year. Donations go directly to installing a 27.5-kilowatt solar panel array for the sanctuary.
By going solar, Wildlife Associates can spend these savings to care for more "wild teachers" and educate an additional 5,000 Bay Area students annually on environmental awareness, climate change and wildlife protection.
