Sulzbacher Village in the Brentwood area celebrated the new installments of solar panels Thursday morning.
Officials said often times, nonprofits have less access for solar and are financially stretched thin. But this will allow staff to focus on taking care of residents instead of the electric bill.
There are 126 solar panels on the roof of their building off Springfield Boulevard. It will help save the nonprofit roughly $7,000 a year.
