February 11th, 2013 - We are happy to announce that we have recently received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) confirming our tax-exempt status under IRC 501(c)(3). Look us up on the IRS' non-profit search under our organization's EIN: 45-1591893.

We are now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit!

What this means for our donors is that past and future donations to Everybody Solar are tax-deductible. Please consult a tax professional to determine how the tax-deduction for any donations you have made or plan to make can best benefit your personal tax situation. If you would like us to confirm any past donations you have made or have any questions please let us know.

December 12th, 2012 - Volunteering for Everybody Solar gives me the opportunity to contribute actual progress to a more sustainable and well-rounded society.

Many of us have extremely busy lives and finding time to volunteer between cooking meals, spending time with loved ones, being physically active, working long work-weeks, and running errands can be very difficult.  Hours become scarce and therefore increasingly valuable. When you find the time to volunteer, you want to make sure that with those scarce hours, you are truly making a difference. You want to fill fulfilled.

community solarMay 15th, 2012 - What is Community Solar?  On the surface this sounds like an easy question to answer, and until giving the topic more thought my answer would have simply been: Community Solar is any solar energy project that takes place in a community and involves the community.
