Meet Our Staff

Myriam Scally

Executive Director

Myriam serves as Everybody Solar's Executive Director. She has spent her professional career working in the nonprofit sector, specifically focusing on health, social justice, and environmental protection. She obtained her Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University in Australia and her Bachelors in Biology from the University of California San Diego.

Both degrees reflect her experience, which ranges from working on projects in pollution prevention in Morocco to tropical disease education in Costa Rica. She comes to us after being the Child and Adult Care Food Program Director for Community Bridges in Santa Cruz, CA. Myriam has been working for Everybody Solar as a volunteer since 2012 and officially became the first hire for Everybody Solar in 2017. In her time with us, Myriam has helped secure funding from donors, grantors, and foundations, worked with volunteers, installers, sponsors, and has been key to growing our projects and partnerships.

Youness Scally

Managing Director & Founder

Youness is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Everybody Solar. Youness guides Everybody Solar to run efficiently and grow its impact in bringing clean energy to outstanding local non-profits and manages all financial operations for the organization. His passion for clean energy and his concern for current and future generations drives his desire to expand the reach of the solar energy movement to the non-profit realm. He is a CPA with over fifteen years of professional experience in financial management and accounting.

Liudmyla Pustovit

Development Manager & Project Coordinator

Liudmyla is a young professional with 6 years of experience in the international non-profit sector, focusing on international education and development.

She holds a Master's degree in Geomorphology and Paleogeography from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. A combination of her grants and project management experience and science degree reflects in her work with us as our Development Manager and Project Coordinator. Liudmyla joined Everybody Solar in March of 2021.

Sasha Aldobayeva

Social Media Manager

Sasha is the Social Media Manager at Everybody Solar. She is a young college student of Kyiv National Linguistics University specializing in Oriental Studies. She is passionate about learning new things, teaching English, studying languages, exploring the world, and volunteering. Sasha joined our team in December of 2021.

Richard Marino

Board Chair

Rich retired with the rank of Commander, United States Navy, after 22 years of service to our nation. He now works in his second career in the corporate world as Director of Sustainability for Coherent Corp., a global leader in materials, networking, and lasers for the industrial, communications, electronics, and instrumentation markets.

He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Rich is passionate about clean energy and the need to turn the tide on climate change, and is proud to support Everybody Solar and its mission to bring solar energy to non-profit organizations.

Ryan Hart

Secretary

As Corporate Counsel – Sustainability for Salesforce, Ryan Hart works closely with Salesforce’s Sustainability Team as an attorney dedicated to sustainability matters with a focus on supply chain sustainability, renewable energy procurement, and carbon offset procurement.

In his role, Ryan has developed and helped operationalize Salesforce’s Sustainability Exhibit, which is now included in supplier procurement contracts to help reduce the company’s carbon footprint. He also negotiates renewable energy power purchase agreements, works on sustainability compliance matters, and negotiates a wide variety of sustainability-related agreements.

Prior to joining Salesforce, Ryan represented institutional lenders, investors, and developers in the financing, development, and acquisition of over 6.5 GWs of renewable energy projects, both nationally and internationally. Ryan obtained his JD from University of California, Berkeley School of Law and most recently completed the Berkeley Law Executive Education Sustainable Capitalism and ESG program and the UC Berkeley Extension Advanced Program in Sustainable Management.

Treasurer

Youness is a Co-Founder of Everybody Solar. Youness guides Everybody Solar to run efficiently and grow its impact in bringing clean energy to outstanding local nonprofits.

His passion for clean energy and his concern for current and future generations drives his desire to expand the reach of the solar energy movement to the nonprofit realm. He is a CPA with over fifteen years of professional experience in financial management and accounting. Youness earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Elizabeth Oh

Board Member

Liz Oh is a seasoned clean tech marketing and communications professional with 15 years of broad marketing experience. Liz co-founded Solar Marketing Group.

in 2009 to move renewable energy into the mainstream and has launched marketing campaigns for over 30 companies. Liz enables businesses to market themselves in smarter ways through strategic branding and creative solutions, PR, events and direct outreach to target audiences. She currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Environmental Network and is on the Planning Committee for the MIT Energy and Clean Tech Series. Liz has a B.S. from MIT and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Emmett Miranker

Board Member

Emmett brings over 10 years of experience in the solar energy industry. He presently heads business development for 17Terawatts, a solar software company that helps solar businesses meet the demand of the new energy consumer.

Previously, he helped to grow CivicSolar into the leading web-based solar equipment distributor. He earned a NABCEP Technical Sales Certification in 2014, and has additional experience in sales and marketing from his time at Kenergy Solar, a solar installation company in Washington DC. Emmett was first exposed to the exciting potential of solar energy in 2011 during an internship at the Solar Energy Industries Association. Emmett holds a degree in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Maryland.

Amanda von Almen

Board Member

As Head of Sustainable Built Environment for Salesforce, Amanda von Almen has positioned the company as a leader in sustainable real estate, procurement, and operations. She drives sustainability strategy for Salesforce’s global real estate portfolio and supply chain, with a focus on de-carbonization, health, and equity.

Amanda works with the Salesforce Real Estate and Workplace Services and Global Procurement and Sourcing teams to leverage the company’s reputation and purchasing power to drive climate action in the built environment and beyond.

Under her leadership, Salesforce has committed to pursuing LEED Platinum and ILFI Zero Carbon certification (by 2030) for all new major offices. Salesforce is also requiring 60% of its supply chain to set Science Based Targets for carbon reduction by 2024, which Amanda is leading the strategy for implementation.

Amanda serves on USGBC NorCal’s Market Leadership Advisory Board (MLAB), Building Transparency’s board, the LEED Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for Water Efficiency, and mindful MATERIALS’ board, among others. She also served on the City of San Francisco Mayor’s Task Force for Building De-carbonization, introducing a plan to electrify the city’s new building stock.

Madeleine Seneor

Volunteer Secretary & Editor

Madeleine graduated as an architect from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium. Having run her own firm in Casablanca, Morocco, for 15 years, she mainly worked on designing schools under a government plan to eradicate illiteracy in the country. Her designs maximized efficiency by utilizing natural light whenever possible, while simultaneously positioning windows to reduce heat – thereby reducing electricity expenditures. Currently, besides her work as volunteer Secretary and Editor for Everybody Solar, Madeleine is a substitute teacher in an underprivileged school district.

Volunteer PR Coordinator

Aaron, a skilled communications professional based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been a dedicated volunteer with Everybody Solar since 2021. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in public relations from Grand Valley State University, Aaron has garnered extensive experience in agency, corporate, and freelance settings. His passion for making a difference and his expertise in communications have made him an invaluable asset to our team. With unwavering enthusiasm, Aaron is eager to contribute his talents to help Everybody Solar achieve its mission of bringing solar energy to nonprofit organizations and fostering a more sustainable future for all.
