Rebuilding Together Penninsula

INSTALLED | July 2013

Picture a world where homes and community centers undergo revitalization, and neighbors in need receive support through volunteer partnerships. Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) stands as the catalyst for this transformative journey. To amplify their impact, in 2013, as our founding project, Everybody Solar partnered with RTP to introduce a 21.62 KW solar energy system, propelling their dedication to a greener and more sustainable San Francisco Peninsula.

Project Overview:

This initiative translated to savings of several thousand dollars annually for RTP, allowing them to channel their resources towards their core mission of rehabilitating homes and community centers.

Rebuilding Together Peninsula's mission revolves around forging volunteer partnerships to rehabilitate homes and community facilities for those in need. Their work empowers low-income homeowners, seniors, disabled individuals, and families, enabling them to live independently in warmth and safety. Serving over one million residents in San Mateo and northern Santa Clara counties, RTP is a testament to the power of neighbors helping neighbors, building a stronger community one step at a time.

The installation of a solar energy system provided not only monetary benefits but also an alignment with RTP's core values. By embracing solar energy, RTP was able to further their mission while contributing to the creation of a more sustainable community. This endeavor was a part of Everybody Solar's commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who are committed to fostering positive change.

"Working with Everybody Solar was incredible. For Rebuilding Together Peninsula, green building has been incredibly important for many years. We have put energy efficiency at our top priorities. With solar panels on our building, we have been able to expand our impact on our community." - said, Seana O'Shaughnessy, Executive Director RTP.
